Flu and COVID clinics
This years Flu and COVID winter vaccination programme begins from October 2025.
We have various clinics available to book including appointments on a Saturday and in the evenings.

If you fit into the below criteria, please contact a member of the Reception team on 01524 843333 to make an appointment. Alternatively, if you have a mobile, you will receive a booking link to make this appointment in the coming weeks.
Flu Eligibility
You are eligible for a Flu Vaccine if you fit into the below criteria;
- are aged 65 or over
- have certain long-term health conditions
- are pregnant
- live in a care home
- are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer’s allowance
- live with someone who has a weakened immune system
Frontline health and social care workers can also get a flu vaccine through their employer.
COVID Eligibility
You are eligible for a COVID Booster Vaccine if you fit into the below criteria;
- are aged 75 or over
- are aged 6 months to 74 years and have a weakened immune system because of a health condition or treatment
- live in a care home for older adults
Why do I have to wait until October for my flu vaccine?
This year most eligible adults will be offered a flu vaccine from early October, which might be slightly later than in previous years. This is because the latest scientific
evidence shows that protection from the flu vaccine decreases over time in adults. It is therefore better to have the vaccine closer to when flu typically circulates.
