Dr Alison Bateman

Dr Bateman initially joined the practice in 1994 as a partner. Her interests whilst in the practice were in women’s health, and Family Planning. In 2008 Dr Bateman furthered her longstanding interest in women’s health by completing a Gynaecology Diploma for Practitioners with a Special Interest. Following on from this, the Healthub Gynaecology, Fertility and Sexual Health Services were launched.

After 25 years of being a partner in the practice, Dr Bateman left the partnership in November 2019 to concentrate on her women’s health interests, in particular the Healthub fertility service which she continues to run alongside Dr Helen Connell.
