COVID-19 Spring Booster 2025
The COVID-19 Spring Booster vaccination scheme starts on 1st April 2025.
If you are eligible for vaccination, you will be invited to book an appointment but if you want to book before, please call the practice on 01524 843333.
- You are eligible for the Spring booster if you are in any of the following groups:
Residents in care homes for older adults - All adults aged 75 years and over
- People aged 6 months to 64 years who are immunosuppressed
Flu Vaccines
We will stop giving flu vaccines when the flu season ends on 31st March.
You are eligible for the Flu vaccination if you are in any of the following groups:
From 1st September:
- pregnant women
- all children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2024
- all children in clinical risk groups aged from 6 months to less than 18 year
From 3rd October
- Residents in long-stay residential care homes
- All adults aged 65 years and over
- People aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group
- Carers in receipt of carer’s allowance, or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
- Close contacts of immunocompromised individuals
- Frontline workers in a social care setting without an employer led occupational health scheme including those working for a registered residential care or nursing home, registered domiciliary care providers, voluntary managed hospice providers and those that are employed by those who receive direct payments (personal budgets) or Personal Health budgets, such as Personal Assistants
