There is a very easy to use website that allows you to get an idea of your risk of having diabetes.
This website can be found at www.diabetes.org.uk/RiskScore if your risk is raised, then you are advised to see one of our Health Care Assistants to have blood tests to check your long term blood sugar level.
This will tell us for certain whether you do have diabetes or not. It would be worthwhile if you are overweight or there is a family history of diabetes.
