Withdrawal of ear wax removal service – Effective from 1st April 2024
It is with regret that Queen Square Medical Practice is no longer able to provide an ear syringing service. We have continued to provide this service to our patients when many other surgeries have stopped. Traditional ear syringing method using water irrigation is no longer considered first line treatment for the removal of ear wax. Ear wax removal is no longer commissioned by the NHS for General Practice and consequently, places our clinicians at risk if we continue to provide this service. These changes are out of our control, and we are sorry for the inconvenience this causes our patients.
